NXVest is a platform that displays backtest results from AI trading models. We use Reinforcement Learning to develop trading models that learn from historical market data.
All reports displayed are backtest results using historical data from broker Exness.
Is this trading signals?
No. This website displays historical backtest results, not real-time trading signals.
Backtest shows how a strategy would have performed in the past - not a guarantee of future results.
Where does the data come from?
All backtests use historical tick data from Exness. This ensures high accuracy because:
- Real spreads according to market conditions
- Slippage simulation
- Commission included
Understanding Reports
Why can low Win Rate still be profitable?
Win Rate only measures the percentage of profitable trades, not how much profit.
A strategy with 40% win rate can be very profitable if the average profit per winning trade is much larger than the average loss.
Learn more in the Win Rate article.
Why is Max Drawdown important?
Max Drawdown shows the largest decline from peak to trough in the equity curve.
It's important because:
- Shows the worst "hole" ever experienced
- Helps determine if you're mentally & financially ready
- A 50% drawdown requires 100% return to recover!
What is Monte Carlo Simulation for?
Monte Carlo simulates thousands of different trade sequences.
Backtest only shows 1 sequence (historical). But in the future, trade order can differ. Monte Carlo helps see worst-case scenarios.
Learn more in the Monte Carlo article.
How many trades are considered enough?
For statistical significance, minimum required:
- < 30 trades - Not reliable
- 30-100 trades - Starting to be meaningful
- 100-500 trades - Good sample
- > 500 trades - Excellent
NXVest reports have minimum hundreds of trades per period.

How to use the Custom Equity Calculator?
Custom Equity Calculator helps you see projected profit and drawdown with your own capital.
- Go to a report page
- Scroll to "Custom Equity Calculator" section
- Enter your capital
- Select risk mode (same risk, 2x, etc)
- Click Calculate
What's the difference between "Same Risk" vs "Proportion"?
Same Risk (1x): Lot size stays the same as backtest. Profit/loss $ same, percentage changes.
Risk Proportion: Lot size adjusts to capital. If capital 2x, lot 2x, profit/loss $ also 2x.

Pip
Percentage in Point. Smallest price movement unit. For EUR/USD, 1 pip = 0.0001.
